Hugs, a 52 lb., 2 year old, brindle American Staffordshire Terrier mix is named for his absolute hugable-ness! This incredibly sweet guy is a mushy love with the saddest of eyes that just makes you want to hug him even more. We’re wondering if Hugs might think he’s the size of a Chihuahua because he absolutely loves to be next to you or better yet, on top of someone. This love enjoys going on long walks and does well with other dogs, cats, and kids. He loves to play but also likes to lounge and sleep. His foster mom reports that he follows her everywhere and goes to work with her (at the vet’s office) and quietly sits behind the reception without bothering the in house cats, visiting dogs or people who come in. He rides well in the car, lying down for most of the ride; knows his basic commands; and is house and crate trained. All in all, Hugs is a real people dog who prefers not to be left behind and would love to be part of a family who fully wants him to be a part of their life.
