Changing Lives … One Tail at a Time …

Lovely Lucy is a boxer/lab mix puppy who is 12 lbs of snuggly softness. Lucy and her sister Ethel were born in Antigua on 10/17/18. When they were 7 weeks old, somebody tried to dispose of them. Thankfully, a good Samaritan brought them to a local rescue person who fostered them and ensured they were given proper puppy vet care.

They flew to NY on 1/5/19 and were great little travel buddies ( it is possible there was some snuggling in the cabin). They are now getting used to cooler air, adorable warm coats and loving foster folks.

Little Lucy has no idea she is small, and this strong little gal can often be found clambering up the stairs carrying sneakers that are bigger than she is. She is a delightful, silly girl who loves her playtime with other dogs and does not like to be alone, so must go to a home where she will have a canine friend and mentor.

She is tiny now but has a healthy appetite, and we and expect she will be between 25-40 pounds when fully grown. Lucy is a curious little dog who likes to explore the world with her mouth, so would not be suited to a home with very small children. She is a bright, affectionate girl and we have a feeling she will excel in puppy class!

Lucy has come a long way from a place of terrible neglect to find her forever home. This very young baby needs a home who will give her lots of time, attention, structure, and endless snuggles!

Lucy plays!
