Bill is a beautiful 1.5 year old, 40 pound Lab mix – just look at his striking coloring! His foster family tells us that Bill is a sweet and loving dog, and has made himself comfortable in the house and happily joins in on all the family activities. Bill is already crate trained and house trained and does not seem to be a big barker. This southern boy is still getting used to the cold, and after a quick bathroom break in the yard is very happy to run back inside. He is comfortable in his crate, and will settle there nicely when tired or overwhelmed.
Bill is still full of puppy energy, and would do best in a family with older children who can understand how to redirect his enthusiasm. He is very smart and highly food motivated, and should be easy to train. Bill is working on his leash skills, and would probably do well in a home with a fenced in yard with plenty of room for him to run and play. A doggy sibling who would keep him active and engaged, and help him learn appropriate household manners and behaviors would be a plus. Bill is a terrific dog and deserves a wonderful forever family – could it be yours?
