Gorgeous Greta Fudge is just a dream puppy. Her foster family named her Greta, after the climate activist and also the film director-a strong name to live up to! (Her name was first Harriet, she is one of the 12 puppies who all have names starting with H). Greta is a 15 pound German Shepherd/ Lab mix born November 2nd, 2019 who is a wonderful combination of sweet, soft and silly.
She spends most of her time playing, and loves to be with people, particularly children. Greta would be very happy in a home with children as young as six, and could also be very happy with an adult home; it’s all about affection and playtime for her right now. She will run in circles in the yard, try to play with a ball, and genuinely enjoys playing with her people.
She loves to be held, and if she’s tired, she wants to sleep right on top of her foster’s feet on the kitchen floor (or in laps). Her foster family has fostered many puppies, and describes this girl as describes her as “crazy cuddly.”
She’s a big fan of toys, particularly chew toys Greta loves her treats and understands that she will get one when she goes potty outside, so she’s house training extremely well, and settling well into the crate routine.
Greta is a large, active breed mix who needs an active home with a yard, and is not suited to apartment living. She is entering a developmental stage where she is exploring the world with her mouth, so will do best in a home with children 6+ who are old enough to redirect her (she happily redirects to a toy). Greta will require plenty of exercise, stimulation, training, and socialization for many months to come in order to help her on his journey to becoming a well-socialized, happy dog. We estimate this gorgeous girl will be 50-70 lbs when full grown.
