Changing Lives … One Tail at a Time …

A New Year…A New Chance

Please join us in our “A New Year…A New Chance” Holiday Giving Campaign!  This year our goal is ambitious – to raise $50,000 by January 15, 2019.  This will enable us to respond promptly in the wake of disaster situations, both natural and man-made.  Unfortunately, these natural disasters are becoming more frequent, and while we deal with their aftermath, we remain faced with the consequences of man-made catastrophes such as kill shelter overcrowding, abuse cases, hoarding situations, etc.

Our quick Hurricane Florence response enabled us to rescue 40 dogs and send 10,000 lbs of supplies to affected areas.  While this was an enormous feat, it was also a costly one, with over $30,000 being spent already in medical care, transport, and supplies for these dogs.

Maggie May is a 7-8 year old Yorkie mix, who was rescued from a backyard breeder in SC.  We treated her heart worm infection, gave her a much needed dental, spayed her, and had to remove a mammary mass and her badly damaged right eye.

Flo is a 10 month old Lab mix, who we saved from a SC kill shelter just hours before Hurricane Florence hit.  The shelter she came from would have had to euthanize her because they knew they would sustain serious damage and flooding from the hurricane.  She now lives with a canine sister (also adopted from us!) and 2 precious human siblings.

We want to continue responding in these critical situations, but we need your help to do it.  Please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal, so we can continue this important work.
