Needs: • Active Canine Pal • Large, Physically Fenced Yard • No Young Children.
Please read Lassie’s requirements in a forever home below and only inquire/apply if you fit that criteria.
Lassie is a precious 2.5 year old, 47 lb. Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. With her always wagging tail and love of people and friends, this girl is a true delight! She loves dancing around with her toys and is all about having fun. Lassie loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home, though true to breed, can also be seen trying to herd them. Intelligent and adventurous, she would love a home that will both mentally and physically stimulate her. She enjoys swimming in her foster family’s pool and can often be found stealing tennis balls from her canine friends who play fetch in the water. When Lassie crashes for a nap, she likes to curl up on the couch or a lounge chair on the deck and simply melts into a scrumptious cuddle buddy. She also sleeps in bed with her foster parents every night. Lassie is house trained, walks well on a leash, and knows how to sit and come when instructed. A vocal girl, she makes the most precious happy noises and loves to chat with her human and canine friends.
With the energy level and mouthiness of an Australian Shepherd, Lassie is not suitable for a home with cats or young children. She would enjoy a home with a large fenced yard and another active dog to play with.
Please note that Lassie has hip dysplasia and will only be adopted to a home that continues giving her daily (over the counter) Moboflex, CBD and fish oil and prescription pain medication on an as needed basis.
