Lauren was picked up by animal control in rural SC in a terrible state. She had been alone for some time and was ravaged by severe mange, lice, and painful infections of her ears, eyes, skin, and upper respiratory tract. The shelter reached out to us, and we were able to get her to our vet quickly for treatment.
Her recovery has been slow, but she has been with a nurturing and patient foster mom, who has been working diligently with our vet to help Lauren get well. As she heals physically, she seems to be healing emotionally as well. She has begun playing with toys and is really starting to come to life in her foster home. Please help support us, by donating, to give Lauren and other dogs like her A New Chance at life and a happy tail of their own.
