Noah is a handsome coppery-colored 18-month-old 45 lb Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever/ Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and the most beautiful amber eyes. When he first arrived he was very withdrawn, but his personality is emerging in his loving and patient foster home, and he is becoming playful, more relaxed and is truly connecting with his foster family. Bright and eager to learn (especially when there is food involved!) Noah has recently discovered a love for toys! Fetch is his new favorite thing, and he happily delivers his toy squirrel to his fosters to request some playtime.
With the classic white chest markings of the Toller and the Shepherd’s upright ears, Noah has a charmingly coy expression with one ear up and one down. Noah gains confidence from his humans, and is enjoying his park walks. He can get overwhelmed if the trails are very crowded with people, and is easily startled by loud noises and unpredictable movements so is not suited to city living. Noah loves sniffing and exploring outside, so will benefit from a physically fenced yard.
This gorgeous boy has already come so far, and will continue to blossom in a home who will give him the love and time needs as he finds his joy and devotes himself to his forever people.
