Precious, a 3 year old, 37 pound Lab mix, has proven herself to be a gentle, loving family dog. Rescued as a stray from South Carolina, Precious has quickly learned to enjoy the comforts of soft beds and cozy couches, and has adapted easily to family life. Calm and confident, she neither startles nor barks unnecessarily, and loves being around the neighborhood kids. Her wonderful foster family tells us that she has easily adjusted to their schedules, and is more than happy to return all the kisses and cuddles that come her way. Precious has even charmed her cranky older foster dog sibling, and has cajoled him into sharing his toys.
At 37 pounds, Precious’s good appetite is helping her gain some much needed weight. She is crate trained, and house broken when kept on a regular schedule. Precious is working hard on her leash skills, and with continued positive reinforcement and lots of praise and treats she is making great progress. Precious is a dear, sweet girl who will capture your heart and be a loving companion to your family.
